For more than two decades, Jody Murphy has impacted hundreds of lives through her loving approach to teaching children in the elementary grades.  Jody believes that every child should learn in a safe and nurturing environment by a qualified, caring educator who works hand-in-hand with each parent to ensure that their child develops cognitively, emotionally, socially, psychologically, and physically.

Jody holds a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Wilmington University, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (summa cum laude) from Delaware State University and an Associate of Arts degree in Visual Arts from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.  She is certified by the State of South Carolina Department of Education in both Early Childhood Education and Art Education.  She was previously certified by the State of Delaware in Early Childhood Education.

Jody’s administrative experience includes Vice-Principal and Athletic Director at Saint Anne Catholic School, The Director of Religious Education at the Shaw Air Force Base Catholic Chapel and the first Head of School for the Columbia Campus of Thomas Sumter Academy.  At Thomas Sumter, she also was independently certified by the Department of Social Services as the Director of the Child Care Services program.
