During this time I have seen her consistently bring out the best in even the most challenging students.    I met Mrs. Murphy when she became my son’s first grade teacher at St. Anne Catholic School after we moved to Sumter mid-term from out of state. Her students were much further along than his previous school, and she worked diligently to help him catch up with the rest of the class.
